Michael Cox, owner and founder of Peace of Mind Contracting and MAC Customz has been involved in the construction industry for well over a decade. Since a young lad, Michael has worked in a multitude of construction trades and positions until finally, he realized he couldn't stick with one specialty. His passion for building, fixing, and craftsmanship encouraged him and his wife Abigail to take a leap of faith -with their family in tow!
Peace of Mind Contracting was established in Bend, OR in 2016 and went from a general contracting and commercial building maintenance company, that quickly developed into an innovative trade servicing, modifying and building custom food trucks, mobile businesses, RV’s and trailers to support the rapidly growing food truck and trailer nation.
The transition was simple since Michael has an extensive background in commercial maintenance, contracting, and restaurants. After the first few food truck maintenance calls, he quickly realized the need for specialized, good quality and affordable services/maintenance/and modifications this community truly needed. Through the years our work has been streamlined to focus mainly on the custom building and renovation of mobile vessels.
Michael and Abigail work alongside each other co-running the MAC Customz shop on their homestead, involving their kids every step of the way. We are teaching the value of high quality, honest work and how to build the foundation of a fun, hardworking family operated small business that helps others make their dreams become a reality too.
